Sudan presented its experience on countering terror before HRC session held in Geneva Saturday. The Geneva session focuses on violence extremism and its relations to human rights. . Sudan unveiled effective procedures it has followed particularly on implementing terrorism countering act.
Member of Sudanese mission in Geneva Aza Mohamed Abd Allah highlights procedures Sudan has implemented to control extremism through enact of laws set to countering money laundering, and prohibition of financing terror. She said Sudan adopts ideological dialogue to persuade extremists without depending on material force besides establishing mechanisms to, pursue terrorists and prohibited terror , enact of law and launches of trials . She adds that ideological dialogue involves religious cleric, family members and the community. The experience achieves successful results as to effect of reintegrating extremists into the community after convincing them of their wrong ideas, reported media quoting Aza as saying.
