60 American professors to participate in a joint university forum in Khartoum


Sixty  professors from US universities will participate in the first forum of it Kind between the Sudanese and American Universities which will be held in Khartoum on the 27 October.

The Forum is organized by Sudan’s Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in coordination with the Institute of International Education (IIE) in Washington and will last for 3 days.

Prominent American universities will participate in this forum including Johns Hopkins University, Stanford University, Indiana State University, University of Indianapolis and University of California and Berkeley.

The Minister of Higher Education Sadeq Al-Hadi Al-Mahdi affirmed the completion of the arrangements for the launching of the “Sudanese-American Universities” Forum, which will reflect the American experience in higher education in Sudan and discuss the spirit of cooperation between the two countries.
