African Ambassadors Praised Sudan for Hosting CAR’ Peace negotiations


The African ambassadors in Khartoum have praised Sudan for hosting the round of negotiations between the Government of Central African Republic (CAR) and the armed movements on the 24th of this month.

The ambassadors considered Sudan’s efforts in this regard not only serve CAR but its neighboring countries and the African continent as a whole.

Sudan Foreign Minister El- Dardiri Mohamed Ahmed, on Saturday has presented enlightenment to the African ambassadors in Khartoum on preparations for the start of negotiations on Wednesday.

According to a press release on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Spokesperson, Ambassador Babeker Siddique El Amin, on Saturday that the participation of delegations and representatives of CAR Government and armed movements, the African Union, the United Nations, the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS), the opposition political parties, representatives of parliament, the National Council for Mediation, the Religious Platform and the national organization of Victims of Juveniles Murderers have been confirmed.

In addition to the National Council of Youth, professional associations, women’s and human rights organizations, representatives of the local press, as well as representatives of the armed movements.
