The chairperson of the African Union Commission, Moussa Faki met on Saturday with the delegation of National Front for Change,Ghazi Salah Eldine.
During the meeting the delegation briefed Faki on the political situation in the country in light of the change led by the Sudanese people for freedom, peace and justice.
Ghazi said that he presented their vision on the current situation, noting that what took place will have repercussions and will reflect on the structure of political action in the country.
He pointed to the vast legal heritage in Sudan in dealing with such matters, noting that there are constitutional issues related to definition Sovereignty and legal issues related to the definition of the role of the executive body and political issues related to the manner of selection and the criteria for the division of power between the parties and political forces.
He added all this requires consensus between the various parties and political forces and civil society organizations.
He said that all this momentum should end with free and fair elections and an agreed constitution, stressing that the political forces are ready to contribute their experience to reach solutions on these dilemmas.
