Blue Nile Leading Figures Calls On Al-Hilu to Remove Marginalization

Leading figures in Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North Sector (SPLM-N) at Blue Nile State intend to hand over a memorandum calling for lifting marginalization from them through increasing their representation in the SPLM-N institutions.

The memorandum which will also call for reviewing the movement’s stances towards the political and security issues in the state, will be handed over to head of the movement, Abdulaziz Al Hilu.

Speaking to the SMC the group of leaders said that they held several meetings with the SPLM-N leadership to call for increasing their representation from 62 members against 122 for South Kordofan, calling for presenting new approaches for resolving the issues of the region through political and security measures that are not linked to South Kordofan issues.

They expressed reservation on assigning Amar Amom to lead the SPLM-N delegation on the two areas talks considering that one of the Blue Nile should be assigned because South Kordofan dominates the positions of the President, Vice President and the Chief Staff.
