Deputy Chairman of the Transitional Military Council (TMC) 1st. Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo has instructed enlisting inmates at all prisons in Sudan and identifying their issues in a view to resolving them as the Deputy Chairman of TMC attended during a visit to Kober Prison in Khartoum North yesterday the release of 305 inmates after payment of their fines and debts which amounted to 33990715 Sudanese pounds.
He indicated that their efforts would cover solving the issues of prison inmates all over the Sudan to benefit from their energies in the building process.
The TMC Deputy Chairman, addressing inmates of Kober Prison in the presence of head of TMC Social Committee 1st. Lt. Gen. (Pilot) Salah Abdel-Khaliq Saeed and the Director General of Police Forces, said that the responsibility they shoulder requires fairness and justice and resolving the issues of ordinary people, saying that Sudan has big wealth that will be divided fairly on all the citizens of the country, saying that the era of favoritism has ended for good.
He called on all to work collectively so that the country would emerge from the current stage safely.
Daglo reiterated that TMC does not want to cling to power, put it will continue to be guarantor for power transfer through free and fair elections, affirming that solutions of the issues of Sudan can be found through dialogue among the Sudanese people.
He stressed concern of TMC with the issues of the police forces, calling on police for deployment in the field and that police officers should be among their men in the field to enhance the spirit of field work.
