FM concludes his participation in the Munich Security conference


The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Aldardiri Mohammed Ahmed concludes the Participation in Munich Security Conference in Germany, which witnessed high-level Participated from leaders, presidents, prime ministers and foreign ministers from all over the world.

The conference was addressed by US Vice President Mike Bens, German Chancellor Merkel’s, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and former US Vice President John Biden, as well as foreign ministers and defense ministers of most European countries.

During his meeting with the Foreign Ministers of the Russian Federation, he also met with the Foreign Ministers of Russia, Spain, Norway, Georgia, Malta and Armenia.

He also met with German Chancellor Merkel for Political and Security Affairs As well as the UN envoy to Libya Ghassan Salama.

During his meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, the minister discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries, especially the follow-up to the implementation of the agreement reached by Presidents AlBashir and Putin at their latest summit in the fields of economic cooperation and facilitating bank transfers.

Lavrov praised Sudan’s efforts in achieving regional peace in southern Sudan as well as in Central Afric.

Lavrov renew his country’s commitment to support Sudan’s issues in international organizations and the Security Council.

The Talks with Spain’s Foreign Minister dealt with ways of promoting political and economic relations, including the organization of an economic forum for Spanish companies in Sudan, the exchange of support in international organizations as well as coordinating efforts to combat migration.
He demands on the international community, especially the Troika countries, to play a role in providing the material component for the implementation of the peace agreement in southern Sudan, Especially the commitments to contain a unified army.
