The Sudanese government stresses that it’s moving ahead with regard to requirements to implement the National Dialogue (ND). Adding it will not respond to holdout and anti peace groups and leave the national dialogue on a back-shelf.
Speaking to the SMC, Assistant to president Ibrahim Mahmoud said the government will not respond to rebel movements and keep the national dialogue outcomes on a back-shelf until the rebels decide to join.
He said no body has right to delay dialogue and it will proceed towards full implementation.
Mahmoud describes those who oppose peace and dialogue as terrorists. He adds ‘’We will move forward to achieve peace and sustainable development.’’
