India has invited Sudan to take a part in the global military field exercise.
The exercise is scheduled for next year, with the participation of armies of more than 15 countries.
The Indian military attaché in Khartoum, Nishant Nair, handed over his country’s invitation to the Sudanese Chief of Staff Lt. Gen Kamal Abdul-Maarouf during their meeting on Monday.
During the meeting, the chief of staff praised the bilateral relations between the two countries, stressing that it is progressing steadily.
The two sides discussed ways to enhance and develop military cooperation relations between the two countries.
