Khartoum (IINA) – The Sudan Heart Society (SHS) will host the regional conference of the Pan-African Society of Cardiology (PASCAR), which coincides with the African Summit of the World Heart Union and the African Catheterization, in Khartoum on October 7-11, Sudan News Agency (SUNA) reported.
The conference will be held in the presence of First Vice President of Sudan and National Prime Minister Lt. Gen. Bakri Hassan Saleh, and Federal Minister of Health Bahr Idris Abu-Garda in addition to several prominet professors, cardiologists, consultants and experts from various heart associations of the world.
SHS Secretary General Dr. Ahmed Ali said in a statement that the conference will discuss the modern methods in the diagnosis and treatment of heart diseases, as well as the latest medical technology in the field of diagnostic and therapeutic catheters. He noted that the conference will be preceded by four training workshops, including a workshop on diagnosis and treatment of children heart diseases.
Participants will discuss more than 100 scientific papers, in addition to reviewing experiments of different specialists from around the world in the diagnosis of heart diseases, he added.
