Khartoum Receives First Economic Mission of American Businessmen


The first US economic mission comprising a delegation of American businessmen arrive in Khartoum today.

The delegation, which will continue until Thursday, will meet with the Minister of Oil and Gas, “Abdulrahman Osman” to discuss investment opportunities available in the field of oil, and notes that the visit under the auspices of Sudatel and in cooperation with the Ministries of Foreign Relations and Investment and a number of ministries of the targeted sectors and in coordination with the Union of employers.

The delegation will hold a press conference at the airport on the arrival of the laser of the Executive Chairman of the American Council on Africa, Flori Lisa, and will begin at 3.30 on Monday, the program of work, which begins the third in Sudatel and will address the opening session Deputy Prime Minister National Minister of Investment Mubarak Al-Fadhel, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Sudatel, Engineer Tariq Hamza and Head of Mission.

 The program also includes the Ministries of Investment, Industry, Agriculture, Oil and Mining, followed by specialized working sessions with these ministries and the Employers’ Union.
