Kuwaiti Army Chief Arrives Khartoum


General chief of staff of the Kuwaiti Army Lt. Gen. Khalid Mohammed al-Khider has arrived Khartoum, on Saturday, in a two-day visit, where he will meet a number of Sudanese army leaders, and to attend graduation of a number of Kuwaiti officers in the Sudanese Military Academy.

He was received at Khartoum International Airport by Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Sudanese army Imad al-Din Mustafa Adawi, and a number of leaders of the Sudanese Armed Forces, as well as Kuwait’s ambassador in Khartoum.

He will meet with the Minister of Defense and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, to attend Karari University and Military Academy graduation ceremonies of new batches of officers, including a number of the Kuwaiti people that  have completed their training period at the Sudanese military Academy.

Furthermore, Kuwaiti Chief of Staff and his accompanying delegation will visit a number of educational and training institutions, to find out the experience of the Sudanese armed forces, for the purpose of enhancing cooperation in the areas of training and exchange of experiences between the Sudanese armed forces and Kuwaiti army
