Lukashenko sends Independence Day greetings to Sudan

Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent greetings to Sudan President Omar Hassan Ahmad al-Bashir and the people of Sudan as the country celebrates Independence Day, BelTA learned from the press service of Belarusian president.
“I cherish good memories of your recent visit to Minsk that gave a considerable impetus to the interstate dialogue and was highly instrumental for the fulfillment of the existing potential of Belarus-Sudan cooperation,” the message of greetings reads.
The head of state noted that Belarus pays much attention to promoting cooperation with Sudan, in particular, in trade and economy, and will do its best to implement the agreements reached.
