MoU between Sudan and Saudi Arabia in the Field of Administrative Development

The Saudi Cabinet has approved a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the field of administrative development between the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Government of the Republic of Sudan.

According to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Cabinet held its first session in 2019 following the major reshuffle conducted by King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz on Thursday.

The meeting was held at the Al-Yamamah palace in the capital Riyadh, headed by King Salman, who directed the ministers and officials to rapidly implement the Kingdom’s budget of 2019.

The meeting resulted in 8 decisions in several areas, including the approval of the two amendments made to the Charter of the Organization of the Islamic Conference, approved by Royal Decree No. (M / 27) dated 17/5/1430 H, its also approved a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the field of administrative development between the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Government of the Republic of Sudan, in addition to the approval of  MoU between Imam Mohammad bin Saud Islamic University and the General Directorate of the Shari’a Courts of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia and the establishment of a foreign trade body with a legal personality called the General Authority for Foreign Trade.

King Salman on Thursday reshuffled the cabinet, naming new foreign and media ministers, removing emirs and shifting several high figures.
