NISS preventing the gold smuggling to abroad


The National Intelligence and Security and Service (NISS) managed to abort the smuggling operation of 2 gold alloys and a quantity of gold jewelry (rings and bracelets) with two women who were traveling abroad by Khartoum airport.

The security source said to (SMC) that the process comes in the framework of combating gold smuggling to abroad, pointing out that the weight of gold and currency allowed during travel abroad has become a threat to the national economy.

He added some people use groups of youth to smuggling currency along with the activity of some women in gold smuggling.

The source confirmed that the security services are tracking criminal groups which seek to sabotage the national economy.
