The National Inelegance and Security Service (NISS) has freed five members of an Egyptian military force from Libyan outlawed groups.
The group had gone missing in the Egypt-Libya border area.
They were received at the Khartoum airport on Monday evening by NISS Director General Salah Abdullah Gosh.
The Director of the Information Department at NISS, said in a press conference at Khartoum airport, that the process conducted in close coordination between the security apparatus from both side, indicating that the abductees had arrived in Khartoum in a healthy condition.
He added, the success of this process shows the extent of qualitative and ongoing coordination to serves security ,functions and joint work between the two bodies in both countries.
He said that such violations and activities against public security and stability should be defeated by all means, adding,”We are proud, an the operation has done smoothly and ended without any losses”.
