NISS Forces Broke into a Weapons Cache West Omdurman


Forces of Sudan’s National Intelligence and Security Service (NISS) broke into a weapons cache west  Omdurman near Al-Huda prison.

They have managed to arrest three suspects and seize a large and varied quantity of weapons buried in a rented house where the suspects were living.

According to security sources the operation witnessed an exchange of fire, resulting in one injured while the other have given up.

Recently NISS has managed to size vehicle full of weapons infiltrated into the country through Al-Gadarif state, it also sized truck in Omdurman at the Dar Salaam checkpoint near the Libyan market.

During the investigation with the suspects the forces managed to figure out that another arms shipment had fled to Omdurman and was hidden inside a rented house used as a weapons cache.

The security source confirmed that the situation under full control.

It is noteworthy that the main suspect had admitted that he belongs to Sudan Liberation Movement – Abdel Wahid Al-Nur (SLM-AW) and he has assigned to deliver the shipment of weapons from the “liberated areas” to the specific cache in Omdurman.
