The leaders of the Nuba Mountains has refused the call of Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North (SPLM-N) led by Abdel Aziz al–Hilu to engaged in sabotage acts and demonstrations.
The splinter leader of SPLM-N, Ahmed Teeh told SMC that Abdel Aziz al–Hilu commanded to the movement to form a committee to follow the developments of demonstrations in the states and to participate in but they refused.
He added” Nuba Mountains witness security and stability”.
Teeh said “the South Kordofan state has suffered too much from war carried out by the SPLM since 2011”.
He pointed out that al-Hilu directed his leaders to form a political and media committees headed by the rebel Jack Mahmoud to monitor and gather information and contact with the movement’s membership in Sudan to participate in the demonstrations.
