The Sudanese Prime Minister (PM), Mutaz Musa has assured the progress in the implementation of the agreements signed between the Sudan and the Turkey.
During his chairmanship of the joint committee to follow up the agreements and memorandums of understanding signed between the two countries at the Cabinet, Musa stressed Sudan’s keenness to promote and develop relations between the two countries to achieve common interests.
The meeting affirmed that Sudan has the basic factors to create a strategic partnership between the two countries, especially in the field of agricultural investment, livestock and industry.
The meeting also praised the projects that had been implemented, especially the thermal electricity generation plants in Darfur states, which aimed to complete the lighting of cities and villages.
Turkey and Sudan has agreed to boost bilateral cooperation in the fields of energy, agriculture, electricity, livestock, transport, aviation, health and education.
The agreements were unveiled at a joint press conference held in Khartoum by Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay and Sudanese Prime Minister Mutaz Musa.
