President Al Bashir Heads to Kuwait on First-Leg of Gulf Tour


President Omar Al Bashir landed in Kuwait on Sunday on his first-leg of a Gulf tour that will also take him to Qatar, during which he will discuss with the leaders of the two countries bilateral relations and efforts to rebuild Sudan and achieve peace.

First Vice-President of the Republic, Bakri Hassan Saleh, Prime Minister and a number of ministers and officials and the Ambassador of Kuwait to Sudan.

In his talks with the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah AlAhmad AlSabah and the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad AlThani, the President of the Republic will address developments in the region and regional and international issues of common concern.

Al Bashir is accompanied by a high-ranking delegation including the Minister of the Presidency Fadl Abdullah Fadl, Foreign Minister Ibrahim Ahmed Ghandour, Director of the National Security and Intelligence Service, Mohammed Atta AlMawla and the Minister of State and Director General of the offices of President Hatem
