President of African Union appreciates Sudan’s role in bringing together the parties to the conflict in Burundi

Sudanese President Omar Al-Bashir met with Rwandan Prime Minister Paul Kagame, the current president of the African Union (AU), on the sidelines of a summit of China-Africa Cooperation Forum in Beijing.

During his meeting on Wednesday, President Al-Bashir briefed Kagame on negotiations between the parties to the conflict in the Central African Republic in Khartoum last week.
