16 million for private sector companies to import and manufacture medicines


The Federal Ministry of Health has provided the pharmaceutical Privet companies of more than 16 million Sudanese pounds for importing and manufacturing medicines.

It commended the efforts of the Transitional Military Council (TMC) and its great mobility to provide medicines and currency to buy it.

Speaking to SMC, Dr. Sulaiman Abdul Jabbar Abdullah, Undersecretary of the Federal Ministry of Health for  stressed the interest of the TMC in providing foreign exchange for importing medicines and solving the problem of private sector indebtedness which amounts to more than $ 80 million.

He noted that this sector provides a very large amount of medicine items.
