The Russian and Chinese ambassadors in Khartoum stressed the desire of their countries to develop political and economic cooperation with Sudan, announcing in separate meetings with Sudanese officials that they are keen to strengthen relations and cooperation with Khartoum in all fields.
Deputy Chairman of the Higher National Committee for Sudanese Relations and BRICS Countries, Awad Ahmed Al-Jaz discussed on Wednesday with Russian Ambassador to Khartoum Vladimir Glutov ways to enhance Sudanese-Russian relations and cooperation and coordination on issues of common concern.
The Russian ambassador stressed the desire of the political leadership of the two countries to move forward to promote political and economic cooperation between the two countries, pointing out the coordination of joint committees between the two sides in the framework of the Brix Group, which is being prepared in the coming days in South Africa.
In the context, Assistant to the President of the Republic Ibrahim Senoussi discussed in his office at the Presidential Palace, with Chinese Ambassador Li Lianhe, the future and developments of the relations of the two countries in the light of the strategic partnership agreement signed by the two countries.
In a press statement following the meeting, the Chinese ambassador expressed his country’s readiness to cooperate with Sudan to achieve common interests, stressing his confidence that the relations between the two countries will become more developed.
