Sudan FM Receives Message From Kuwaiti Counterpart

Sudan’s Foreign Minister, Ibrahim Ghandour received a message from Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah on bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them.

Acting Foreign Ministry Spokesman, Jafar Sumi Tutu, said in a press statement that the minister received the Kuwaiti ambassador to Khartoum, Bassam Mohammed al-Qabandi, who handed him the message of his Kuwaiti counterpart.

Tutu noted that the message also dealt with coordination between the two countries in regional and international forums, and exchanged views on issues of common interest on Arab, regional and international level.

President Omar al-Bashir visited Kuwait in October last year as part of Khartoum’s support for Kuwait’s initiative to settle the Gulf crisis.
