The 8th session of the Political Consultative Committee between Sudan and India was held in New Delhi on Monday.
The Sudanese delegation headed by Ambassador Mahmoud Fadl Abdel Rasoul Mohammed, Director General of Arab and Asian Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while Indian side headed by Dr. B.Bala Bhaskar, Joint Secretary (West Asia and North Africa), Ministry of External Affairs.
The two sides reviewed cooperation in political, economic and cultural fields, activating trade and investment between the public and private sectors in both countries, in addition to exchanging visits between the two countries’ leaders.
They agreed on the importance of exchanging visits and communication between the ministries and institutions in the two countries, focusing on agriculture, livestock production and mining, in addition to exchanging experiences, training and transfer of technology and knowledge in a way that helps push and develop bilateral relations.
They also discussed a number of regional and international issues of common concern, stressing the need for coordination and mutual support in international forums.
They agree to convene the 9th session will be held in Khartoum December 2019.
