Sudan participated with a high- level delegation in the 12th Parliamentary Intelligence-Security Forum in Washington last week.
The delegation included representatives from the legislative, executive and security organs.
Speaking to SMC, the head of the Security and Defense Committee at the Parliament, Al-Hadi Adam as saying the forum discussed a number of issues including cyber threats, terrorism, malicious foreign investment, and information sharing.
He stressed that the forum has praised the effective participation of the Sudanese delegation in the discussions.
On December 6, 2018, the 12th Parliamentary Intelligence Forum was held in Washington, DC. The event was organized and chaired by The Honorable Robert Pittenger, U.S. Congressman.
The Forum was attended by over 300 representatives of parliaments, international organizations, embassies and expert circles from over 80 countries, including from a number of countries of the CIS and Europe.
