Through intensive efforts between the two chiefs of security and intelligence in both countries
Contacts led by the Sudanese National Intelligence and security Service NISS and the Egyptian Intelligence Service have succeeded in releasing six Sudanese gold miners detained in Egypt who were arrested last February while en route to the Awainat region.
The liberated miners arrived at the Qustal border post and their properties were returned.
The director general of NISS had ordered the relevant authorities to follow the release of the Sudanese gold miners, following the efforts of the security and intelligence leaders of both countries.
The security authorities are making continuous efforts to complete the expulsion of 17 other miners who had been arrested in previous periods.
