Sudan : sends new extraordinary ambassador to Central African Republic

NEWSROOM (ADV) – The government of the Central African Republic has approved nomination of Abdul-Raouf Amer Ali Amer as Sudan Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Bangui.

In a statement to SUNA, Ambassador Abdul-Raouf has described the relations between Sudan and the Central African Republic as distinguished, referring to the neighborliness and tribal intermingling between the two countries.

He pointed to the endeavor of Sudan to host the negotiations between the disputing parties in the Central African Republic and to coordinate with the African Union Commission in this regard.

Ambassador Abdul-Raouf has worked as the Director of Central and West Africa and deputy head of Sudan diplomatic mission to Paris.
