Sudan to host the first Conference of the countries producing Gum Arabic in May

Sudan’s Permanent Representative in Geneva, Mustafa Osman Ismail said that the preparations to host the first conference of the countries producing Arabic gum in Africa has completed, which will be held in Khartoum on May.

The delegate of the Sudan in Geneva discussed during the enlightening meeting held on Monday at the headquarters of the mission with the ambassadors of the countries producing Arabic gum in the presence of representatives of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD)

He pointed out that the meeting resulted in the establishment of the Arabic gum Research Center, Unit for Producers of Gum Exporting Countries in Africa and the establishment of the Arabic gum International Stock Exchange linked to the international exchanges.
