Sudan to Participate in the Meeting of Council of States Bordering Red Sea and Gulf of Aden


Saudi Arabia has invited Sudan to participate in the first meeting of foreign ministers of the Council of Arab and African States bordering Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.

The meeting scheduled to be held in Riyadh on 12th December.

The Sudanese Foreign Minister, Dardari Mohammed Ahmed met on Wednesday with the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Khartoum Ali bin Hassan Jafar, who handed him a written letter from his Saudi counterpart Adel Al-Jubeir inviting him to participate in the meeting to discuss the draft of the Council establishment.

During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between Sudan and the Saudi Arabia and means to boost and developing it.
