Sudan, Tunisia Discuss Oil and Gas


Minister of Petroleum, Azhari Abdul-Gadir Abdalla, has called on Tunisian Companies to invest in oil and gas fields in Sudan.

This came when he received Monday the Ambassador of Tunisia to Khartoum, Imad Rahmouni.

The meeting  discussed the cooperation prospects between two countries in the oil and gas fields.

The two sides affirmed the importance of oil and gas in supporting the economic efforts and boosting the production.

The Tunisian Ambassador said that the coming period will witness large cooperation between Sudan and Tunisia in the oil and gas domains and other fields, affirming their readiness to support the cooperation in the oil sector, adding that his country has long experience in the petroleum and gas fields.
