Turkish Interior Minister Soliman Sawilo received on Wednesday his Sudanese counterpart, Ibrahim Mahmoud, at the ministry’s headquarters in Ankara.
The two ministers discussed the bilateral relation following Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan visit to Sudan.
Erdogan visited Sudan for three days, accompanied by a delegation of some 200 businessmen. During the visit, 22 agreements were signed between the two countries in various fields.
Turkey continues to provide assistance to Sudan in various areas, the most recent of which was the dispatch of a power ship to supply Sudan with electricity, about two months after the agreement was signed between the Turkish company Karporship and the Sudanese Ministry of Water Resources and Electricity.
