The fourth session of the strategic dialogue between Sudan and the United Kingdom will begin on October 16 in London.
Speaking to the SMC, British ambassador to Khartoum, Michael Aaron, said that great development took place in the relations between Khartoum and London following the start of the strategic dialogue in 2016 and taking a number of concrete steps.
The ambassador highlighted the ease regarding the granting of visas between the two countries, noting that there is remarkable progress in cooperation in the fields of combating illegal immigration, and coordinating of human rights issues.
The Ambassador was speaking during an SMC interview which will be published later.
Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Abdul Ghani AlNaim, will lead the delegation to the strategic dialogue session.
The British envoy to Sudan and South Sudan, Christopher Trott, held talks in Khartoum last August and discussed a number of issues, foremost of which is the relations between the two countries and the launch of the fourth session of the strategic dialogue, in addition to preparations for the convening of the Sudanese British economic forum scheduled for mid November in London.
