UAE Investments in Sudan Increase to USD Seven Billion


The United Arab Emirates (UAE) ambassador to Khartoum, Hamad Mohammed Humaid Al Junaibisaid that the UAE’s investment in Sudan is more than 7 billion dollars, pointing out that the investments are very advanced especially in the field of food security, oil and mining.

Speaking to the SMC Al Junaibi said, “The UAE ceiling is high to increase the volume of trade exchange between the two countries”, adding “The coming period will witness more memorandums of understanding and bilateral agreements”.

He stressed that the UAE government is seeking to increase the volume of investments and trade exchange between the two countries.

He explained that the Sudanese-UAE relations are strong and historic, noting that the reality of the situation confirms the eternal relationship between Khartoum and Abu Dhabi, calling on the Sudanese government to create a more attractive investment environment to attract more investors.
