SMC-

The Defense and Security Committee in the National Assembly have rejected the United Nations Security Council request of the presentation of a report every 60 days by the UNAMID and the Experts Committee and said that the request comes to find a pretext to extend the UNAMID mandate. The National Assembly committee head Al-Hadi Adam said that there is security and stabilization in Darfur and the armed groups are finished, arms have been collected from civilians and the roads are safe and so there is no need for UNAMID presence.
